Its the second time I visit Jogja. I love that city. Specially the Malioboro. Sounds strange maybe cause I like peacefull locations normally. But the Mailioboro has something special. Crowded, easy going, lots of small restaurants, just fun for a change. And I only planned just 2 full days there.

Shopping for the family I left in Holland, visit the Prambaran and see some other parts (beach area near Jogja).

I picked the Ibiz Malioboro as hotel and thats a nice bit old 3 star hotel. Located as the name of the hotel says near the Malioboro.

Already in Malang through the agency there got a car with driver. And he was stipt on time the second day. Destination: Prambaran temple complex. Visited first some smaller temples near Jogja. Then the Prambaran. Its overwhelming big. The entrance had big difference in price for foreigners and locals.  Funny and I see it as a sort of tax. No problem. Picked a nice day to visit the complex. Not to crowded. The Prambaran is a must see when visit Java.

After the Prambaran had some time left and went for the second time to the Merapi vulcano. After some difficult explaineing the jeep driver there I maneged to get another tour there then I did in 2013. Much more nice and visited for example some waterworks made by Dutch long ago.

After turning back to the hotel planned with driver the trip for the next day. Beach area and caves.

The beach near Jogja is beautiful. Very different spots. Rocky spots with heavy waves to easy beach places where swimming is very easy. Before the beach area I went to a beautiful cave. Not to far from Jogja. Only pitty thing that it was really crowded when I visit the cave, But it was fun to do on a rubber tire slow going through that cave.
